When you feel thirsty, that’s right, drink another glass of water. When you sit down to eat, if you have water first, it will essentially fill the holes in your stomach, allowing you to be full faster. When you are thirsty, drink water instead of high sugar juices or sodas and you will feel more refreshed while reducing your calorie intake.

2. Meats are Fine in Moderation

While some will argue that meats are high in calories and fat, the truth is that you need the protein to stay energized. If you are not energized, then you will probably not want to exercise, which is a key to your fast weight loss tips. The last thing you want to do is go eat a huge 1 pound juicy burger that is fresh off the fat farm, but you do want to eat some leaner meats.

Here is how you can do it. Instead of cooking ground beef for burgers and other recipes, try ground turkey instead. It is a leaner meat that does not have the fat content of beef, but still offers the taste. Fish and chicken are also very lean meats that are extremely healthy and low in fat.

3. Exercise at Your Own Pace

A regular exercise routine is key to your weight loss success, but it has to be on your own terms. The last thing you want to do is get started in a routine only to be in so much pain the next day that you don’t ever want to do it again. Here is how you can get into a routine that will help you to look forward to your exercise every day. The first thing to remember is that variety is a good thing. It is ok if you want to switch it up every now and then. For example, walk around the block one day and go swimming the next day.

5. Go Ahead and Snack

While it is not always good to eat between meals, snacking is something that everybody does and enjoys. It is a good idea to at least cut back on your snacking but as long as you swap the chocolate out for healthy snack options such as celery sticks and carrots, you can go ahead and snack.

6. Clean out Your Pantry

I know you have it. That stash of snacks that you don’t want anybody else to find. That little guilty pleasure that satisfies your midnight craving. Throw it away. Throw it away now. The biggest fault to anyone who is trying to lose weight is they think that just the one snack won’t hurt; it won’t be that big of a deal to have just the one candy bar, right?


Throw out all of the junk food in your home. Nothing deep fried or covered in chocolate. Try to switch these things out for baked chips if that is your weak spot or granola bars if you can’t shake your addiction to candy. Try going for some veggie sticks dipped in low fat ranch but, by all means, you have to eliminate the junk in your home or it will just continue to tempt you.

7. Have a Buddy

The key to doing anything is to have a support system similar to the buddy system. This should be someone you can trust, someone who will never sugar coat anything for you. You want this to be the person you call on when you want to cheat, someone who will exercise with you and reward you through the triumphs as well as tell you that you screwed up when you fall, but will also help you back up. This is your support system that you will count on to get you to your goal weight and will help you stay there once you reach it.
